We always enjoy welcoming patients to our practice for the first time. Please complete the new patient forms prior to your scheduled appointment time. This allows for a prompt check-in with the front desk and eliminates additional waiting time.
WHAT TO EXPECT:
At your initial visit, one of our knowledgeable and friendly staff will give you a tour of the office. After a short discussion regarding your dental history, the assistant will provide nutritional and diet information specific to your needs. At routine checkup visits, xrays and intraoral photos may be taken to assess the current condition of the mouth and diagnose any problems. Children will also receive a dental cleaning and fluoride treatment (with permission).
Adults will have a diagnostic exam, oral cancer screening and periodontal evaluation. First visit cleanings are only done if patients have healthy gums and regular 6 month cleanings. In patients with periodontal problems, a deep cleaning may be recommended for some or all quadrants of the mouth. This type of cleaning requires numbing for the patient's comfort and an additional appointment will be necessary in most cases.
Patients scheduled to address specific concerns will be seen accordingly.
FINANCIAL OPTIONS:
We participate in most major insurance companies. As a courtesy, we file insurance claims on the day of the appointment. Patients are responsible for any co-pay and deductible amounts on the date of service.We also offer an in-office discount plan. Our financial coordinator is available to discuss additional payment options when requested. We will work together to ensure you get the treatment necessary. Your dental health is Dr. Jones' primary concern.
